Maybe you should take down the http://www.working-dogs.com/dash/ web site
then and point it to http://java.apache.org/turbine/

jon... he was asking a question...<denoted by the "?" at the end of the
sentence> not stating a point of fact. don't be so harsh and defensive. if
i'm not mistaken the RunData.getOut() feature is new in Turbine and not
found
in Dash.

jon... why the "...Huh? This doesn't say anything useful or true to me..."
comment? the rest of the reply:
"There is no reason why you can't use the current pooling scheme to do stuff
with 3-tier systems...example..the Weblogic stuff that comes with Turbine
uses their pooling scheme. On top of it, you don't have to use the database
stuff if you don't want to...it is just there for your benefit if you want
it."
would have been just fine, instead you chose to alienate/belittle/disparage
& demean, and not for the first time, an obviously new user (or should i
say, an ex-new user) of Turbine. Don't be so defensive... trust me, there is
no need to be insecure about the framework you _helped_ to build... no one
is attacking it, its just that not every one will have an expert level of
understanding of it right off the bat... slow down and have a bit of
consideration.
