First, I'd like to say that I really like Turbine! After trying several
different frameworks, I feel
Turbine really has the most to offer in terms of sticking close to the
Servlet API and good object design.
I really hope to build a couple of applications with it in the near future.
In the meantime, I've been looking
around trying to see where I can lend a hand. One of the areas that will be
important for my future applications
is access control.
I'm curious what the goal is in terms of managing users. I realize that you
probably
want to keep it open enough to allow some to build in their own needs. But
is the current admin screens and actions included for demo purposes or do
you intend to provide a default adminstrators interface?
In my opinion, a default admin interface would probably be something a lot
of future Turbine user would find useful.
If the goal is to provide a default interface, I'll jump in and see how I
can help in that area.
