I have noticed this problem with other projects we are working on. I was
unsure how you were dealing with it or if I was the only one having this
problem with jikes. Generally when I do a complete re-compile I switch to
javac (1.1 or 1.2) if jikes fails due to circular dependencies. Then go
back to using jikes until I run across the problem again.
