Unless you can recompile the C part of JServ, stick with 1.1b3. (I think
you said you were using windows, so I think you are better off backing off a
little bit from the cutting edge.)
Re: the original NPE.
I would look at how the login related actions are creating the messages that
are causing the error. If you change things so that Rundata.message stays
null, does this error in ECS occur when printing other Elements? It would
seem ECS made it through the top Nav module okay. Can't help much with this
since I do not get the error.
