So in most "real world" authentications systems you can apply security to both "groups" and "users" In UNIX this would be USER (RWX) GROUP(RW) In NT this would be (USER) FULL_CONTROL (GROUP) READ_ONLY We need to do this for turbine as well. Users should have the right to have permissions. Specifically I need to have only certain users to have a special right. This could theoretically be done with hacked out roles... but it really just needs to be done within AccessControlList.hasPermission() so that it works for users and roles. Thoughts? I have to implement this locally by Friday (knock on wood) and I would like to commit the sources back.
