I saw the same thing when adding JDBC-ODBC support and using
an MS SQL database. I was trying to use a varchar for the
"OBJECTDATA" column. I traced it down to the "finally" clause
in BasePeer's "doUpdate(Criteria, Criteria)", where it says
"tds.close()". It's fine until it reaches that line, then the
JVM panics.
