I would like to propose an official release schedule for Turbine 1.0.
The truth is that Turbine is very reliable right now and we should try
to get it out ASAP (release early, release often). However, I believe
there are some action items that should be taken care of first:
Requirements:
- Better documentation
- Better scheduler
- OPaL code finalized or not distributed with 1.0
- Cron code finished up.
- Services model finished up.
So what I propose is a 3 week time period to finish the above. (is this
enough time?) and then a one week period of testing to find any
additional bugs. Then we release 1.0.
Please cast your vote. I am +1 of course. I hope this addresses jon's
issues.
