Jon,
I made a suggestion earlier about the poosibility of devoting
a section of the Turbine site for addon Turbine Services and/or
applications. The purpose of this area would be a dedicated section for
contributing Services/Applications that are probably not the best fit
for the main Turbine tree but are valuable.
For example, the Webmacro Service I created. I haven't commited that
to the tree yet because I know the upheaval it'll cause when you tell
folks they need to recompile WebMacro if they want to use it in Turbine
with JDK2.
I see more of these issues coming about as Turbine rises in popularity.
I'd be willing to volunteer to set this area up and maintain it if folks
think it'll be valuable.
