Sounds like the next step after that would be a GUI app.
Ideally an application that allows you to visual design your persistent
classes and then generate the schema, peers, and business objects.
But that almost sounds like a seperate Apache project. What would be
cool
is if Java Apache had a shared/agreed upon database layer (with a nice
GUI tool) that all Java Apache projects could use.
