Hi,
I was trying to try out the the Turbine snapshot of today
(27/03/2000), but did not succeed yet. I am using
- Redhat Linux 6.2
- MySQL Ver 9.36 Distrib 3.22.27, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)
- JServ 1.1.2
I followed the instructions in install.txt and got the
software running after a while, showing me the login page in the
browser. When I tried to log in for the first time, Igot an error page
with an exception, saying that a boolean property named
"secure.passwords"
could not be found. I added a property with that name to the file
"TurbineResources.properties":
secure.password=false
After that I could login with turbine/turbine, but I didn't
got a Welcome page after that but again the login-page without an
error message.
It seems that the login information is correctly verified,
since I do get an error when trying an invalid name or password
combination. Also if I set secure.password=true, I do get an error
message, saying that username or password are incorrect.
The logs do not show any error messages.
Any clue where to start debugging now?
