Hey all,
Our subversion.tigris.org project just had a very successful informal in
person summit meeting at the Collab.Net offices to discuss the development
of Subversion (essentially CVS 2.0). Because of this success, we have
decided to also have one for Scarab.
I would like to have a similar meeting to both discuss the development of
Scarab but also to give a small workshop on the development of applications
within the Turbine framework, with a focus on Scarab of course. I think that
by having an in person meeting we can cover a lot more ground and get people
up to speed more quickly. I would also just like to meet a lot of you in
person and you can come see where the Collab.Net magic happens. :-)
This email is just to get a feeling for now many of you might be interested
in coming to a meeting. I understand that not all of you are located in the
Bay Area, we will take notes and publish them on the web after the meeting,
but your physical presence is of course better.
If you are interested in coming to this meeting please send me private email
and state your preference for a date: I'm going on vacation (Hawaii!!! woo
hoo!) from June 2-12th so we could either do it before then (like on May
29th) or right after I get back (like on June 16th or 19th) depending on
what people's schedules are like.
