I would definitely like to work on this, but I would be in a position to
start work on it after few days, say 15 days or so. I'll let you know, when

not really, but that is a great suggestion to add as Services so that they
are available as Singletons. also, making some sort of framework/interfaces
for doing various bits of validation would be cool as well.
If you want to take this on, I'm sure that CVS write can be arranged. :-)
