I added documentation for getting Turbine up and running with Oracle
yesterday into the docs/schema directory, there are plenty more databases
that need configuration documentation. Since Turbine is for developers
rather than administrators, it would be good to see documentation on how to
use packages within the Turbine library. That would be a useful start to
documenting Turbine if you want to have a go.

I did some install/configure docs for JServ on NT with differing versions.
They pretty much go through a base install with nothing fancy. I would
occasionly get emails saying thanks and less frequently people would email
me direct with their setup problems.

The FAQ is at;

  http://locus.apache.org/jyve-faq/Turbine

The Apache/JServ/NT docs are at;

http://dev.apache.org/jyve-faq/Turbine/screen/DisplayOneTopic/action/SetAll/
project_id/1/faq_id/1/topic_id/27

The Win32 based JServ setup/configuration postings to the JServ list were
much less after the FAQ was up and running and the Win32 section had several
FAQ style documents added to it. Documenting does work, if it isnt in the
format you agree with, then you are welcome to add your own to the project.

Have a peek in the docs and docs/schema directory of the Turbine
distibution, there is much documentation that needs to be done. I am sure if
you authored newbie style FAQs for Turbine that are more descriptive and
explanative than step based, it would be an excellent addition to the
project.
