Thanks for the mention. I'm still hoping that someone
on this list will try the current OPL. It's only
missing a couple of features needed by Turbine users.
Coincidentally, one is the order by mentioned by
Parker May in today's mail. I'll add something like
his suggestion. Probably, I can add missing features
this weekend or next.
OPL now has an example that extends it to support non
transactional databases. The big issue here is what
to call the class.
Is anyone on the list using xml generated from the
database? I'm adding support for generating xml from
the database using the mapping. I'll also add
something for going the other way, xml->dbms using the
mapping. There's an example using SAX parsing which
does xml->object.
I'm very interested in hearing from anyone who's
actually using xml from the database in their screens,
and getting some feedback on what features are
required.
