Sure it does :) The more torque you have the faster
you get off the starting blocks!

I think it can be both. Family members have their own identity
but are still part of a family.
I'm not at all fussy about the name, or where the files
live. Whatever facilitates easy use is best. But for
now I'm going to leave it where it is until I get
it working properly
