Thanks to Java OO, Turbine is being developed in such a way that you can
simply swap out turbine.jar files and for the most part upgrade Turbine
without having to modify your code at all. Thus, the latest and greatest
version (ie: what is in CVS) is generally the best version to use. The only
time this is an issue is if you are using Java 1.1.x and some 1.2.x code
slips in accidentally or if we do interface changes (which are not happening
a huge amount in the core anymore). I find this swapping functionality quite
important and a benefit to doing things with Turbine over other frameworks.

As I have already noted (sigh, please *read* my emails) the core stability
is just fine, it is the packaging that is really in flux.
