Hi All,
I'm having difficulty testing my Turbine installation to see if it was
successfull or not (yes I am a newbie). My software specs are the
following:
Windows NT4 sp 5
Apache 1.3.12
Tomcat 1.0
Turbine (still trying to install)
I have "successfully built the turbine package utilizting the
build-turbine.bat script. I am assuming it built successfully because there
were no error messages. The only reason I am suspect is because of the JSDK
jar file reference in the .bat file (jsdk.jar does not exist on my computer)
The turbine documentation said I could point my browser to
http://your.host.com/servlets/Turbine (where servlets is your default
servelt zone as configured by tomcat), after successfully building it and
editing the necessary files (steps 1-4), . However I do not have a servlets
directory on my web server, so I'm guessing my servlet zone is just
http://your.host.com/ because http://your.host.com/examples/servlets/ holds
a whole bunch of working servlets that tomcat installed. So I assumed that
http://your.host.com/Turbine would work in my case, but I just get the
default page not found screen in my web browser.
HELP!
Thanks,
Eric
