Hi, Would there be any support to use a Prepared Statement in BasePeer's doSelect Method? I looked at the possibility and it is definitely feasible. Advantages of a Prepared Statement is that you don't need to escape any characters in strings - this will simplify the statement build code. Also you don't have to follow a specific date format - I had problems with this earlier when I tried to select a date range from a table :-( Unless anybody has a problem with it I'll replace doSelect statement with a prepared statement version by Friday. I'll move the old method to doNonPreparedSelect and mark it as deprecated.
