Although a lot of the documentation on the website needs to be
rewritten, the info on the scheduler is very helpful. I think that it
will answer a lot of your questions. Go To:
http://java.apache.org/turbine/getting-started.html
and search for Scheduler and you will find what you need to get
scheduler running.

You can always run the executable from within your scheduled job. :-)
