By the way I succeed to make Turbine work. Not so
difficult but the Install
notes are missing some stuffs when using Tomcat. 
(This is Not a critic!)
I understand your point of view concerning JSP but ...
You should also mention that using a technology like
Turbine should make
possible the use of JSP in the beginning (I come it
from Sun like anybody
and I built a MVC in JSP like anybody before coming to
you) and migrate to a
more robust engine using Velocity (I suppose it will
replace Webmacro in the
future and can be see as webmacro++ ?).
Anyway JSP is here to stay for a while and when you
will have to sell a
product, when it has the J2EE stamp, it makes people
more comfortable...
I will look forward the code now to analyse,
understand, hack, ... it.
I am already sure I will discover things that I did
not think of it when
building my MVC.
Please release a version soon : that's why I did not
come to see Turbine
before.  It will make the world discover how Turbine
can be usefull in ALL
Java/Web based project.
