I tried this with the collections.jar that comes with latest version of
webmacro (sun's java 1.1 collections, which I believe you were refferring
to) and it also does not work.

Any suggestions? Will the java2 code be removed or is Turbine officially
requiring it? Also, is there much performance penalty running the linux
jdk1.2 on FreeBSD? if so, does any know how much? Lastly, are there any
other work arounds?

java 1.1. Goto http://java.sun.com/beans/infobus/#collections. Here you
can
download a collections jar....It contains the JDK 1.2 collections classes
for
