Hi,
I had the same problems... I think ;^)
Are you using Tomcat alone or in collaboration with Apache ?
The Turbine's docs statement seems to be true ONLY IF you use Apache +
Tomcat:
in that mode, you can have the same sintax used by JServ to access
to your servlet repository.
Try to read the Tomcat docs about Apache and... Tomcat workers (oh, my
amnesia... )
Another note: if you'd like to read the newest documentation,
you must built it from the xml-docs files (there is a build script).

Subject: newbie questions - sorry guys
I everyone,
I just dowloaded Tomcat and Turbine; Tomcat works fine. But although I
have followed all the installation steps specified in Turbine's doc
(modified web.xml, copied TurbineResources.properties under
TOMCAT_HOME/conf...), I cannot connect to it using
http://myhost:8080/servlet/Turbine or
http://myhost:8080/servlets/Turbine - this latter format is the one
mentionned in the doc, although it seems strange to me....
I am wondering: is Turbine's doc in sync with Tomcat's latest release?
Or should Turbine be deployed as any other web application (in a .war
file)?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!
