Unfortunately the website is a bit out of date, the ODBC files got pulled at
the same time as the xdocs went in. The ODBC:JDBC with Access does not
implement all the Metadata and ResultSetMetadata methods, there is also an
issue with ResultSet.close() and PrepearedStatements with greater than 1.2.1
JVM's in which the bridge does not behave consistently. It bit a few people
in the foot (myself included) when it was part of the distribution.

You can by all means connect up an ODBC database to Turbine, it just wont be
supported by Turbine or through this mailing list. If you are just testing
out Turbine, connect it up to HypersonicSQL which is the db of choice for
the TDK. It is lightweight and more painless to install and connect than
Access.
