I had a vote. Read the archives, you might have missed it in your machine
meltdown (subject: [Proposal] JDK 1.2). We got 3 +1's and 1 -0 in 24 hours
and I waited even longer than that to make the change. That is enough for
things to go ahead IMHO.
JDK 1.2 is now on every single major platform. No need to support 1.1 any
longer.
