Somebody here asked me how Turbine (Castor? Village?)
maps native types in SQL Server to Java types. In particular,
they are interested in the following SQL Server types:
* IMAGE
* MEMO
* MONEY
Having no experience at all with SQL Server, I'm not sure
how this is handled. Moreover, I'm pretty sure you could
ask the same question regarding other databases with support
for such types; I know Oracle supports a MONEY type. How
is this type mapped to a native Java type? How should this
be handled in Torque? I mean, when I define the schema,
what types should I give to these columns?
Anybody can give me a couple of hints in this regard?
