The idea looks very interesting. I have already organised a meeting with
Cocoon people, on behalf of one of my customers. I'll tell you if I go to
East Coast. They are also using Turbine and Jetspeed.

I am in Madrid (Spain). I would be interested in meeting with other people
in Spain (or in Europe). I do consultancy and development, and I'm
tracking Open Source (GNU's not Unix then) since the dark ages (way before
Microsoft was famous).

I think that people interested should arrange a meeting in the ApacheCon
EU show to find ways to distribute commercial development and consultancy
around this kind of products.
