OK, I will get the TDK and have more of a look around. I still think that
the installation documentation for getting Turbine working under JServ
that you have up on your website should be correct, so when I track down
the problem, I will post some instructions to the list to help newbies
such as me who use JServ. I didn't change anything in my TR.props file
(fresh from CVS), apart from adding the following lines:
database.default.driver=COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver
database.default.url=jdbc:db2:turbine
I have been looking through the source to find the problem myself, and
haven't found anything obvious yet. I just thought that instead of
wasting time trying to get the TDK working, someone on this list might
help save me some time.
On your installation page, it says:
"If you have problems or receive exceptions when following these steps,
please subscribe to the mailing list and ask for help. Be sure to
include the specific steps you followed, where the error occurred, and
what the exact text of the error message is."
I did that to the best of my ability and still got flamed :(
