Where did all the database.adaptor directives go?

I updated turbine some days ago, and noted that all but one database.adaptor
directive had been taken out.  I just put back all the directives I had been
using, and the stuff works, but I thougth these directives signalled which
databases Turbine supported?

database.adaptor=DBMM
database.adaptor.DBMM=org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver
