Admittedly Torque is PITA right now. That's the next thing that will
be added to the TDK: proper support for Torque/NewTorque and an example
using peers. As yet there is no easy way to use torque unless you
check out turbine from CVS and use the scripts in the torque directory.
The database issue is the next hurdle to get over in the TDK.

I know it's not very helpful, but until the next version of
the TDK there isn't much else. You can send me specific
questions if you really need to get it to work.

I will be spending some time with torque over the next
while because the Jyve people are having some difficulties
with Torque so I would like to get things sorted out
sooner rather then later :-)
