OK, as far as I could tell there were no takers on creating a new logging
facility so I guess I will give it a go since I did a little work with the
current one. The only criteria I have heard so far is the following:
1. It needs to support debug on/off option.
2. It should be written as a Turbine service so that it have access to the
ServletContext.
What other changes would anyone like to see?
I havent decided between log4j and avalon's log package. Although they both
seem pretty similar, log4j seems to have a little more documentation. If
anyone wants to argue for one over the other pelase do so now.
