Hi,

There is a new version of the TDK up in the usual place:

http://java.apache.org/turbine/tdk

o tons of fixes for the velocity service.
o torque has been fully integrated into the TDK

Torque will now produce:

o SQL for base Turbine system.
o Object Model for base Turbine system.
o SQL for ID Broker system.
o Initialization SQL for the ID Broker system.
o SQL for your project.
o Object model for your project.

All of these are separate targets in the torque.xml
file. The default is to run them all, but you can
run them separately if you wish. The targets are
as follows:

turbine-sql
turbine-om
id-broker-sql
id-broken-init
project-sql
project-om

Torque is now completely based on Velocity's Texen
generator. WebMacro is gone, and my home brewed, nasty
mess is gone.

Right now the SQL produced has only been tested with
MySQL, but I'm hoping now that we are using Velocity
templates that it will be relatively easy to generate
SQL for other targets. There are a few outstanding
issues but the generation appears to be correct.
Please give it a spin to make sure nothing is
busted :-)

jvz.
