The name shortening in Torque would work right now because
the Turbine peers are not generated by Torque, but when
they are the name shortening feature might be nice. It would
be really nice to have a single XML schema and possible have
a simple properties file which indicates the database that
require name shortening and have Torque do what's necessary.

Can you please make the changes to the turbine-schema.xml, then
you or I can generate the new SQL for the target databases. I
would really like to get rid of the non-generated SQL as soon
as we can.
