I guess I should just investigate, but your sure it is possible to
download an open source version of Interbase, build it, and expect to
get something slightly functional?
I was under the impression that critical pieces were not open sourced
and that the community was doing a lot of work to implement the missing
pieces, but that a good oss version would be some time coming.
