Is it possible to use Turbine service (TurbinePoolBrokerService in particular) without having to rely on the Turbine servlet to perform the service initializations? What are the steps I need to take in order to do this? I'm asking this somewhat out of curiosity but I would like to know in case I'd like to use this service outside the scope of the Turbine servlet design. I have some existing servlets that could make use of connection pooling.
