I am trying to get an admin app working and I've started
a little proposal in a new created "proposals" directory
in CVS. This will become a definitive xdoc over the next
few days as I have to make an admin system for Tambora.
If anyone is interested I would appreciate some feedback
as I would like to include the admin app in the tdk, to
accompany the sample peer app.
I also think there is a problem with the schema as it
relates to Roles within Groups, or Roles associated with
Groups. The problem is outlined in the proposal, but the
basic gist is that there is no way to associate a Role
with a Group.
The first screen I wanted to present in the admin app
would be to display a list of the Roles within each
Group but the TURBINE_GROUP and TURBINE_ROLE have
nothing in common and there is no binding table
like there is for Permissions and Roles i.e. there
is a TURBINE_ROLE_PERMISSION table to associate
Permissions with Roles but there is no
TURBINE_GROUP_ROLE to bind Roles to Groups.
I think this is a problem but please correct me
if I'm wrong. Thanks.
