I've noticed that something strange was going on there myself
I'm using Timestamps in my tables and they in my case they were also ingnored.
But I had no time at that moment to look at it.
Then later I change my tables (schema) cause I forgot that the dates was
required, And now I don't have any proplems.
I would not insist on that there is an connection but maybe.

By the way, I'm using postgresql
