this is exactly what I wanted to avoid people confused on how it should work.

I agree that rest is more std and if we ever move away it's going to
be a problem but that is an if.

The only problem I see with getting away from rst is the offline docs
which will be more complicated.

I also find moin's gui editor a great advantage over other wiki
engines. because we don't really have to learn
yet-another-wiki-language
