Hi,

Looking through documentation and website related tickets, I stumbled
over unresolved ticket http://trac.turbogears.org/ticket/1265

This rises several questions:

1) It seems that there are changes to the website docs checked into SVN
that have not been uploaded to the server since Febuary. Who is
responsible for this and why has it not been done yet?

2) Where is the SVN for the website docs anyway? For example, if I look at

http://trac.turbogears.org/browser/website/docs/about/index.html

it doesn't match the current contents of

http://www.turbogears.org/about/index.html

but seems even older. Where is a copy of the current website kept, so
one may create patches?

3) Ages ago we pointed out some issues with the website [1] [2] most of
which are still not addressed as of today. I would love to help fixing
them, but considering 1) and 2) I don't know how. How shall we address this?

I would offer to take on superintendence of the website maintenance. My
plan would be to move most of the stuff under /docs to the wiki and tidy
up the other pages by and by (along the suggestions in [1]), but I would
need (FTP?) access to the webserver to do that and know how to generate
the remaining static pages. I feel that we're doing a really bad job
with regard to the website at the moment.

Chris
