I have a couple of issues arising from the new lazy gettext functionality. First my xmlrpc functions handled through the cherrypy xmlrpc filters were having issues marshalling those turbogears.i18n.tg_gettext.lazystring objects. And now my database bindings can't throw them into the database.
I think I liked the old way better.
