This is more targeted to Kevin, but I'd like to hear other opinions as well.

I've "half-fixed" the SQL Alchemy part of Turbogears with the help of ticket
825. I don't have it working yet, and I need to check what is causing the
"sre" error for savisit.py.

The questions is:

  - can I commit this partial fix to both branches?

  - can I commit this partial fix to trunk?

  - should I keep it here until I fix everything (if I get to do that...) and
not commit anything?

I'd commit it to both branches if this was my project -- not working today, a
bit better with the fix, but still not working... -- but I am not responsible
for this project as a whole, so I'd like to know what is our "policy" for
that.

Thanks,
