Happy New Year!

Due to ongoing server troubles, I have just moved TurboGears' Trac and Subversion installations to a new home at WebFaction, a bit more hastily than I would have done otherwise. If you are using svn checkouts of any TurboGears code, you will need to use svn switch. For example, if you have the 1.0 branch checked out, you will run the following command in your svn working copy directory:

svn switch --relocate http://www.turbogears.org/svn/turbogears/ branches/1.0 http://svn.turbogears.org/branches/1.0 .

(don't miss the "." at the end of that line)

At the moment, it looks like the repository is not allowing unauthenticated (anonymous) access. I'm keen on getting the rest moved over before I worry about that.

Additionally, Trac has made the move. Assuming you're not getting a cached DNS entry, http://trac.turbogears.org should point to the new server and be functional. Note that the Trac logins were lost in the move, and I'm not certain there's anything I can do about it (I'll check though).

We'll get all of the pieces back together, but my main concern is making the site fully available and *keeping* it available. We're in capable hands with our hosts at WebFaction.

Thanks for your patience while the site has been problematic... (and be sure to attend the IRC chat on Wednesday!)

Kevin
