I'm planning on having an early beta sometime after OSCON, so probably
the first or second week of aug.

You can actually use kid and SQLObject in tg2, so that won't be much
change. And the tg2 controllers are very, very similar to 1.0, so
overall it should be reasonabe.

The pieces that aren't done yet are Identity, automatic transactions,
and internationalization (babel integration) so if you're not using
those features the first tg2 alpha should be a pretty easy transition.
