Thanks for the update. I'm mostly working in Django these days, but am still interested in how TG is coming along. As a third party observer, I'd like to offer the constructive criticism that TG is not marketing itself as well as it did in the early days. From an outsider's perspective, it *appears as* a project in trouble.
I understand that the devs are busy developing. But perhaps someone outside of the core development team could put together periodic update summaries to be posted to the lists and perhaps made available to 3rd party sites like lwn.net (for the development updates page of their weekly edition), etc. I think that it would help affirm that TG is still a vibrant project, and probably attract more users and developers, thereby accelerating the progress of TG2.
