My take on the subject is summed up by a commercial from the 80's:

"We will sell no wine before it's time."

It's a good thing  to have tentative schedule, because it helps us get
things done.   But it's also more important to do things right a few
days late than it is to do them wrong on time.  :)

Beyond that I just want to say thanks so all the people who are
working hard on TurboGears 1.0.4 and 1.1.   SInce June, I releases
have been flowing pretty regularly, and my projects at work are
happily moving along on TurboGears 1.x with no problems.
