It's been said before, developer time is more valuable than cpu time.
It comes down to
a matter of cost.  If it is easier for a developer to use Genshi, and
then you have to buy
a few more servers to get the performance you need, you will probably
still come out
ahead in the long run.

I think Mark is spot on, Genshi, with support for Mako sounds like a
mating of both
worlds, just like TG has always been, willing to play with many
different package.
