It's been said before, developer time is more valuable than cpu time. It comes down to a matter of cost. If it is easier for a developer to use Genshi, and then you have to buy a few more servers to get the performance you need, you will probably still come out ahead in the long run.
I think Mark is spot on, Genshi, with support for Mako sounds like a mating of both worlds, just like TG has always been, willing to play with many different package. -chris On Dec 14, 5:20 pm, zunzun <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Dec 14, 11:28 am, "Mark Ramm" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > ...let people who have crazy performance optimization > > needs help us out by adding Mako templates to components as the need > > arises. > > I imagine going to my boss and saying, "Yes it *is* ten times slower, > but your business customers will surely understand the slow web site > and be sympathetic to you once they know it's Turbo Gears!" > > James --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears Trunk" group.
