That's my point. And if you use them in the templates, you may want to
use the same name in the controller. It's pretty confusing if you use
the same object as "c" in the template, but as "tmpl_context" in the
controller.

One-letter names are disputable, but we should let the users decide, and
if they use them, allow them to use these consistently.

(And since names like tmpl_context are hard to remember and easy to
misspell the one-letter names are somewhat attractive in this case.)
