Not knowing the individual, when one sees it on a number of lists at
the same time, that is unfortunately the impression one gets. They
should have perhaps posted it to just the Python WEB-SIG group as a
general discussion point then, given that representatives of most
frameworks read that list. Because that hasn't happened, multiple
discussions have broken out in different places about it when it would
have been better if it was in one place perhaps.
