*What Got Done?* Actually, we got a lot done this past week. Christoph managed to complete (or very nearly) the 1.x doc conversion. Alessandro continued his work on closing more bugs. I worked more on the website preparation, and things look very good for us there. More on that in the "What's coming up" section, though.
We also have a major announcement: Alessandro Molina and Luke Macken have both been recognized for how much they have given to this community. We have invited them to join the core team of developers, and they have accepted. So, this means you can harass them as well for when fixes will be coming :) Thank you guys, and I look forward to working with you on getting our next releases out the door. *Where Are We Now?* We're in pretty good shape. The final pieces of the migration are coming into place, and it looks like we're on track to make beta.turbogears.orginto our new main site come Wednesday, about noon GMT. I'll make the changes to the DNS entries early in the morning, and they'll start propagating around noon GMT. If anybody has a reason for this switch *not* to occur, speak up. It's too late to say "no, dont" once we do it. *What Will Get Done This Week?* Unless somebody has a reason, the server will be migrated on Wednesday. I'm switching over to working on the 2.0.4 release this week, and will try to get that out by the end of the week. It should be doable, since there's only three tickets for it. That's right, folks, a release in the 2.x line is finally imminent. Keep the cork in the champagne for now, though. Wait until the release happens. -- Michael J.
