First, I'd like to apologize to everybody. I've been offline for much of the past three weeks, only able to pop in sporadically, and dealing with a lot of garbage at work (short version: major systems failures, loss of personnel, loss of knowledge due to lack of documentation, badly maintained systems, etc). Getting myself back to anything like normalcy has been a challenge. I really am sorry, and am finally back to work on TG.
What Got Done? Thank Alessandro and Christoph: Between the two of them, they've been closing tickets, pulling patches, and getting 1.5 out the door. I've reviewed a little bit of how to write a Sphinx extension, and learned that I'm not going to be able to write the SphinxGit extension quickly. I'm holding off until TG2.1.3 or TG2.1.4 until I manage to release that and make it useful. Sadly, it does mean rewriting some docs when I do that, but that's a price I'll pay to avoid holding up the next release. Where Are We Now? The primary release blockers (without checking over the tickets) are the docs. I've got several pieces that must be written. Once those pieces are written, I'll begin working on the 2.1.2 release. What Will Get Done? The docs are easy (well, for me, anyway). I'll have the mandatory minimum pieces written this week, and bring in the current theme, too. By the end of the week, I should begin working on cutting the 2.1.2 release. So, anybody looking to get a specific bug fixed or feature in best get patches in right away. Once I branch for the next release, nothing new goes in except bug fixes to make the tests pass. I know, this is kind of a short status. Right now, I'm just reestablishing my schedule.
