I'm leaning towards disabling by default myself. We have a lot of good
(even great) things about TurboGears, and high on that list is that we
don't force people to use pretty much anything. One failure we have in that
regard, though, is that we haven't chosen (and stuck with) a JS library. At
this point in web land, jQuery seems to rule the roost, and I'd like to
make that the default choice that we tell people to use, and provide ways
to use the others.
